The living conditions are great, the team is very quick to respond to queries, and the overall location is extremely convenient if you value easy access to different shops and the university itself. The price you can get all of this for is certainly very democratic too, especially when compared to other agencies. Also, the fact that there are two gated parking lots right near the property is definitely a big selling point for me too!
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/a-/ALV-UjXn-frZTGenFRx4UPAg3z0GaVO7dn642xv6UIvEq16cV3AKEzYR=s128-c0x00000000-cc-rp-mo
5
Castle homes is by far the best student accommodation in Hull. Even before I started living with them, they were super quick to answer all my emails, and helped me visit lots of properties within my budget. I’ve lived in a castle homes property for 2 years now, and I’m just annoyed that I didn’t live here for the other 2 years of university before! Any problems I’ve had (no fault to the property), I’d email Castle Homes and they’d often sort the issue that day for me. All the staff are incredibly kind and approachable! I also had a personal health scare, which worried my parents, but Castle Home came to check on me, which helped to put my parents at ease. Could not fault the company if I tried!! Ross is superb!
The property itself is safe, spacious and has everything and more that a student could need. It’s close to the uni and all surrounding amenities!
Another note - Harrison the warden is a real credit to Castle Homes! From the very beginning, getting in touch with the owners and finding the right room was incredibly straightforward, which made the whole process of moving in feel effortless.

The house itself was beautifully maintained, always clean and thoughtfully looked after. The communal areas were well\\-equipped and provided a lovely space to relax, spend time with housemates and truly feel at home.

What I appreciated most, however, was the care and attention from the Castle Homes team. They were always approachable, attentive and quick to sort out any issues, making sure everything ran smoothly throughout my stay. It’s those little things that really make a difference, especially when you’re living away from home.

Looking back, I’m genuinely grateful for the time I spent there.
