The main campus of Isle of Wight College is in a central location on the outskirts of Newport, where international students are hosted. In Newport, transporting is the easiest, as The Great Western main railway line passes through the heart of the city, stopping at Newport railway station. Newport has nine public bridges arching over the River Usk, connecting the east and west of the city, such as the Newport City footbridge, specifically designed for bicycles and pedestrians. Newport is well linked with nearby Cardiff through railway or numerous bus services. In the south-west of Newport is Cardiff Airport, launching domestic and international flights as well.
